			This sculpture of Piyush was the first portrait sculpture that I attempted. The sculpture class was held at the Litmus Gallery in Raleigh, NC. Jim Fatata was the instructor. It was wood fired as green ware at Dan Finch Pottery Studio in Bailey, NC. I am constantly amazed at how fire transforms clay. This will remain in the artist's collection.
